Cerakote Colour Options

Choose from six signature colours to create a finish that's truly one of a kind. Cerakote is lightweight, durable, and designed to stand out, on the road and beyond.

What is Cerakote?

Unlike traditional bicycle paint, Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating originally developed for firearms and aerospace applications. It's applied in an ultra-thin layer and cured at high temperature, creating a bond that's incredibly durable and resistant to scratches, chips, and UV degradation.

"Cerakote isn't just a colour choice – it's exceptional durability and UV protection that outlasts traditional bicycle paint finishes."

Performance Characteristics

  • Scratch Resistance: Significantly harder than traditional paint or powder coat.
  • UV Stability: Colours won't fade in sunlight, even after years of outdoor use.
  • Thin Application: Doesn't add noticeable weight or affect tolerances.
  • Chemical Resistant: Stands up to cleaners, chain lube, and road chemicals.
  • Self-Healing: Minor surface scratches can be polished out.

Or Keep It Raw

Many customers choose to leave their titanium raw (uncoated). Titanium requires no protective coating—Cerakote is purely aesthetic. The natural brushed finish has a timeless appeal and will never need repainting. Over time, raw titanium develops a subtle patina that many riders love. Zero rust or corrosion in any environment, and the frame requires only basic cleaning.

The Process

1

Colour Selection

Choose one of our six signature colours or contact us for custom colour options.

2

Surface Preparation

The frame is thoroughly cleaned and media-blasted to create the ideal surface texture for Cerakote adhesion. This step is critical for durability.

3

Application

Cerakote is applied in an ultra-thin layer. After surface preparation, a single coat is applied evenly to the frame and components.

4

Curing

The frame is then oven cured at 60-150 degrees Celsius, depending on the components being coated. This creates a hard and durable finish to the coating process. Curing times vary between 1-3 hrs.
